The BE Runner's Program
Running is a skill. And skill requires technique.
Are you ready to get serious about changing your run form and stride? We are staffed with several PTs that have extensive training and experience working with runners of all experience levels, injured or not. With our BE Runner's Program, our PTs will teach you the core principles of running, practice the running drills that help your body master these principles, and guide you through the most effective corrective exercises that are best for YOU, whether you are already a seasoned runner or just getting started.
This service is typically offered as a follow-up to our Run Form & Stride Analysis. The BE Runner's Program with guide you with the tools and knowledge required to propel you to become a more efficient, fast, and resilient runner. This is achieved over four 50-minute sessions with a physical therapist.
Session 1: Initial motion capture analysis, strength testing, and movement exam.
Session 2: Introduction to fundamental strength exercises and run form drills. Learn how to implement changes into your running schedule.
Session 3: Progress exercises by introducing strategies for building strength either through increasing resistance, tempo of movement, or complexity of movement. Additional run form coaching on treadmill.
Session 4: Introduction to power based exercises to improve run performance. Coaching on transference of power into running form.
