Dr. Eric Schneider, PT, MPT, DHSc, OCS, CMTPT
Physical Therapist
Eric earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University in 2006 and a Doctor of Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2019. With over 18 years of outpatient experience, he treats a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. He became a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2012 and was recertified in 2022. Eric specializes in spine rehab, orthopaedic manual therapy, dry needling, spinal manipulation, and biomechanical analysis of movement patterns. He works closely with endurance athletes, CrossFitters, and powerlifters to optimize performance and prevent injury.
Eric is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Mount St. Joseph University and Co-Academic Director for the Orthopedic Residency Program at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. His teaching focuses on movement science, musculoskeletal, and research coursework. His current research explores dry needling’s effects on lower extremity muscle function. Eric regularly teaches continuing education courses and has presented at conferences on orthopaedic manual therapy. He also gives community talks on injury prevention and training principles. Outside of work, Eric enjoys time with his wife and two sons—and fitting in a workout or round of golf when he can.
