Dr. Ryan Embley, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Ryan Embley, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, ATC, earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University in 2011 and worked with Division I athletes across multiple sports. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2016. Since then, Ryan has treated individuals with a wide range of orthopedic conditions and continually pursued advanced certifications in manual therapy, vestibular rehab, Astym, functional movement, bike fitting, and more. In 2019, he became a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy after completing a two-year residency.
Ryan is passionate about identifying and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns, optimizing breathing mechanics, and using manual therapy to address the root cause of injuries. He has a strong interest in running-related injuries, with a focus on improving performance and efficiency. In 2021, he was honored to serve on the medical staff for the USATF Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon.
Outside the clinic, Ryan is an endurance sport enthusiast who enjoys running, cycling, and soccer. He has completed multiple triathlons and is always training for his next race. He also enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and playing the cello.
