Angelina Tran

Angelina earned her Bachelor of Science at Xavier University. She studied exercise science and minored in applied health sciences and pre-physical therapy. She is passionate about fitness and rehabilitation and has been immersed in the field academically and professionally for over 4 years. She has been employed at and shadowed across several different physical therapy settings including outpatient orthopedic, outpatient neurological, inpatient acute care, and skilled nursing facility. She completed an internship in an outpatient orthopedic setting that focused on how certain exercises and procedures appropriate to each patient helped them reach functional movement goals and measurements. She gained invaluable experience working with patients, physical therapists, and other health professionals. She will be attending the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Cincinnati to work towards her career goal of becoming a licensed physical therapist. In her free time she enjoys running, baking, and traveling. She has visited several countries including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. In the spring she will visit Italy and hopefully more places in the future!
