Our massage services are performed in a relaxed and quiet setting within our Wellness Home at 3219 Brotherton Rd (next to our main building). We offer three different types of massages to suit your individual needs. Sessions last approximately 60 or 90 minutes.
We recommend to those individuals looking for a thorough full-body experience to schedule a 90 minute session. If you are looking for just more targeted treatment a 60 minute session should be adequate. If you are uncertain which option is best for you, please give us a call and we can help guide you to the best choice for your needs.
This type of therapeutic massage is performed with light to medium pressure. This massage is perfect for reducing tension/stress, promoting relaxation, and decreasing pain.
This type of massage will target problem areas, with focus on the most utilized muscles of your sport/activity. You can expect light to medium pressure, with some deep tissue pressure to your targeted areas.
Deep Tissue Massage
This type of massage is a deeper form of Swedish massage. This deeper pressure can be more effective in releasing those stubborn or deep muscle knots.
Active Release is a fusion of trigger point release with joint movements with the explicit goal of unsticking your tissue layers. Sticking of your tissue layers happens with repetitive stress, whether it’s healthy stress from your workouts or unhealthy stress from poor posture.
If you feel like your muscles are tight and stiff no matter how much you stretch, do yoga, or receive traditional massage, then our active release sessions will free up your bounded tissue layers leaving your joints and muscles moving more freely.
