Intro To Strength Training For Cyclists
FREE 4-week Strength Series
Join us at Beyond Exercise for a 4-week series of free 45-minute group strength classes for cyclists on the following dates:
Sunday, December 9 at 9am
Tuesday, December 18 at 6:30pm
Sunday, December 23 at 9am
Sunday, December 30 at 9am
Who is this for? - Cyclists of all disciplines, abilities, and categories, whether you’re a regular in the gym or have no weightlifting experience.
What can participants expect? - You’ll break a sweat and get your heart rate up, but this is not a HIIT or bootcamp-style class designed to leave you feeling like you just climbed Alpe d’huez. Each class will be taught by a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in treating cyclists and will include exercises that target muscles used to propel your bike while challenging your coordination and balance. Expect a mix of bodyweight movements and equipment such as kettlebells, resistance bands, or cable columns. Stay for coffee and snacks on Sunday mornings to ask questions and see what BE is all about.
