ACL Injury Prevention Program
ACL Injury Prevention Assessment $195
ACL Injury Prevention Follow-up Session $70
Many ACL injuries can be prevented, considering that the majority of ACL injuries (particularly in females) are considered non-contact incidences. This means that the ligament tear occurs without any physical contact to the knee.
Research has shown that proper control of your body, good muscle strength, normal hip range of motion, appropriate agility, and proper dynamic core stabilization will significantly reduce the likelihood of a non-contact ACL injury.
Our ACL Injury Prevention Assessment helps to identify kinks in these important areas so that you can start correcting them, thereby lowering your risk of knee injuries. These recommendations will be given to the athlete, along with an initial phase of exercises to begin correcting them. The athlete can take these recommendations to their own personal trainer/coach, or the athlete can enter our personal training program where our trainers will work with him/her by creating customized plans that are directed by our ACL Injury Prevention team.
Advanced ACL Rehabilitation
Advanced ACL Physical Therapy Evaluation $195
60-Minute Follow-up $99
The initial weeks after an ACL repair is dedicated to controlling the pain and swelling, activating muscles with simple exercises, learning how to walk, improving the range of motion, and protecting the knee. Physical therapy during the first 6-8 weeks is a matter of simple exercises, but once you get past the point of learning how to do basic stretches and simple table exercises your physical therapy needs to get more personalized. This is a critical time in the rehab process where you need personalized attention to make the most of every treatment session so that by Week 10 you are set up to begin a return-to-run program and you are ready to learn how to hop.
With our Advanced ACL Rehabilitation Program you will undergo a thorough evaluation to determine YOUR current status with:
Range of Motion
Muscle Activation (Gluteals, Quads, Hamstrings, Core)
Functional Mobility (Squat, Walk, Jump*, Run*) *dependent on your surgery date and strength/range of motion

This transitional program will prepare you as you graduate from therapeutic exercises with a physical therapist into a true fitness and return-to-sport program. Once the trainer feels that you have met the objectives necessary to progress into a true fitness program, you may switch to working in a 60-minute private/semi-private training program, small group program, or one of our fitness classes.
These sessions are 75-minutes in duration in order to allow for sufficient time to work on your deficiencies and to properly warm-up and cool down the the body to prevent re-injury or new injuries.
