Student Athlete Development Program

Includes:

  1. Movement & Strength Assessment by one of our in-house highly skilled orthopedic physical therapists. This will provide the information necessary to build an exercise plan that will not only build muscle but will also allow you to move more efficiently while reducing your risk of injury. By having our physical therapists in-house to help guide the process of developing the student athlete, you can rest assured that the athlete’s musculoskeletal health is first priority. When this is placed front and center we can SAFELY progress the student athlete through their strength building.

  2. Three Private Personal Training Sessions with our awesome team of strength and conditioning coaches. They will take the movement and strength assessment information provided to them by the physical therapist to create the exercise plan. This plan will create a foundation rooted in correct movement patterns, appropriate muscle activation, and optimal muscle conditioning. It is from this foundation that strength is built. From strength, power and speed are developed. The three private training sessions focus on teaching proper movement technique, muscle activation, and motor coordination.

  3. 10 Semi-Private Personal Training Sessions with the same team of in-house strength and conditioning coaches. After learning the BE way to move during the private training sessions, the student athlete will transition into our semi-private training sessions. These are small groups of 2-5 people doing each of their own tailored workouts but with the supervision of the trainer to ensure safety and proper form of exercises.

  4. 20% off merchandise/products and 10% off all our services for 6 months.

Runner Athlete Development Program

  4. Run Form Coaching Session with Video Analysis with one of our run form specialists (who are also runners and physical therapists). The coach will video your running form on a treadmill and use slow motion analysis to break down your movement at various phases of the run cycle. He will then coach you to make the changes necessary to improve your running economy and reduce compensatory stresses to your musculoskeletal system.

  4. Bike Fit + Form Coaching Session with our cycling specialist (who is both a cyclist and a physical therapist). She will expertly guide you in optimizing your body to your bike. At BE, our focus is to work on your body first before making you upgrade your bike’s hardware and force the bike on your body. We believe that optimizing your movement goes a longer way in providing comfort and performance.
