When Should An Athlete Get Tested?

We recommend the following testing schedules based on the type of athlete and the level of training and life factors. 

 

Endurance AThlete

  • Recreational or Budget-crunched athlete

Bronze Panel:  5-6 weeks prior to your "A" race

 

  • Competitive age-group athlete or Recreational athlete with busy lifestyle

Silver or Gold Panel:  during the off-season or period of low training volume

Bronze Panel:  following 3-4 weeks of early season ramp up

Bronze Panel:  5-6 weeks prior to “A” race

 

  • Elite/Professional/College Athlete

Gold Panel:  during the off-season or period of low training volume

Silver Panel:  following 3-4 weeks of early season ramp up

Bronze Panel:  5-6 weeks prior to all “A” races


Team Sports AThlete

  • High School/Club Level Athlete

Silver Panel:  during off-season or period of low training volume

Bronze Panel:  (**add-ons if warranted by testing history) 1-2 times during season

  • Professional/Semi-Professional/College Athlete

Gold Panel:  during off-season or period of low training volume

Bronze Panel:  every 4-6 weeks during season (**add-on tests if warranted by testing history)
