Winner of Ironman Mallorca in September 2016

Jocelyn is a Texas native who has found her way to Cincinnati.  While growing up in Texas she excelled in swimming and running.  In high school, she set a 2-mile record and earned a full scholarship on the national champion Brigham Young University cross- country team.

Jocelyn first became interested in triathlons after spectating her sister--who eventually became her first coach--at Ironman in St. George, UT.  She found the atmosphere electrifying and decided to try her hand at triathlons. After finding immediate success in her first 70.3 Ironman race (1st place finish in her age group) and subsequent half Ironman races, she won her age group in her first ever full Ironman in Texas. This qualified her for the World Championship race in Kona, Hawaii where she earned the top spot on the podium as the first female amateur to finish.

Through this all, her greatest accomplishment was welcoming into her family her daughter Emilyn who, along with her husband, are the support and motivation that have made all this possible.

Jocelyn is currently coached by Jesse Kropelnicki of QT2 Systems.  Visit her website here to read about her training and racing.  Jocelyn's complete sponsors list can be viewed here.
